Rescue Crew Response

    1. Upon reaching the scene ask who is in charge of the ambulance, "what help they need from the rescue vehicle."

    2. Put out reflective cones to protect accident scene and emergency vehicles.

    3. Take the following equipment form the rescue truck and place it where it will be easily available if needed.

      • Hurst Tool

      • Generator and lights, if night time operation

      • Box of Tools

      • Tarp

      1. If department members are not busy, they should stay close to rescue vehicle.

      2. Personnel vehicles should be placed away from accident scene.

      3. All responding personnel must wear full protective clothing and boots.
